DeerMX
I first met DeerMX at an annual Music Festival in Thailand, Jai Thep, where I was hired to make an event video. I was preparing for the days’ activities and noticed a man sitting next to the pool, carefully crafting an origami Deer mask. It turns out that it was a part of the bands’ identity for their upcoming gig that night.
I took some pictures and video of the band for the purposes of preparing for the video, and after the festival was finished, I made a point to forward pictures and video clips to the bands in the Festival for their own promotional purposes (and to introduce myself with the hope of any future collaboration).
After some conversation with the band, it turned out that they were keen to collaborate with other artists, and thus began a fruitful collaboration over the years, including some promotional digital art, my first paid project with AI recreation, and even a music video in 2023 (featured above), as we finally got to meet up in Thailand and spend some quality time together. Below are a few pictures from the Festival where we first met.
Music Remixes
I have been fortunate to work on some remixes for the band over the years. They are one of my dream collaborative clients; they let me stretch my artistic legs, so to speak, and do what I enjoy at the time, whilst embracing the unknown. I enjoy these moments the most, long days in front of the computer giving myself time and space to express myself.

AI Comparisons
DeerMX was one of the first clients to trust the process with AI. Although it is a divisive topic, it has it’s benefits. My primary skillset is with Stable Diffusion, generating images locally on my laptop. I have learned how to train Stable Diffusion to recreate ‘virtual’ characters. Primary benefits being that I can place them in different environments, in different outfits and styles. These images aren’t meant to be a direct, exact comparison with the real images shown, it just gives a good parallel between actual photoshoots and what can be produces with current technology.
